Dax’s professional background includes almost 25 years with Grant Thornton (formerly PwC), all of which have been in the Turks & Caicos Islands.
Dax is the Managing Partner and methodology leader of the assurance practice for Grant Thornton in the Turks & Caicos Islands, specialising in assurance services, with a proven track record of meeting client deadlines, exceeding client expectations and providing quality, cost-effective audits. Dax has a wealth of experience in, and deep knowledge of, International Financial Reporting Standards (being the preferred accounting framework in the Turks & Caicos Islands).
Dax has worked extensively with both private (Hospitality & Tourism, Financial Services, Retail and Private Client Services audits) and public sector entities within the Turks & Caicos Islands. Dax has been a thought leader during his tenure with the firm and created a Caribbean Wide Smaller client illustrative audit file to facilitate the performance of efficient and effective quality audits.
Dax is the current President of the Turks & Caicos Society of Professional Accountants.
