John Matheson is an assurance partner within the firm, having been a partner within the firm since April 2022. As well as general assurance clients, John runs our captive insurance practice and corporate services practice. John previously operated as finance director for more than 10 years for the European operations (located in Brussels, Belgium) of a worldwide hi-tech group.
Originally from Scotland, UK, John has international experience from living and working in Scotland, England, Netherlands, Belgium, Kazakhstan, and the Turks and Caicos Islands. Other experience includes general insurance and reinsurance companies, retail and private banking, manufacturing, oil refineries, retail, tourism sector, hi-tech, and private funds.
John is approved by the Financial Services Commission of the Turks and Caicos Islands as a Money Laundering Compliance Officer and is additionally the firm’s independence and ethics partner with experience in IFRS, and IFRS for SMEs.
